This installation of tourism posters for the Monmouth Independence Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center (MICC) establish a sense of artistry in the building while also displaying and celebrating the diversity and value of the community.
For the poster with a focus on the arts & culture, collage imagery with highly stylized figures combines with text to celebrate the arts and unify with the surrounding posters. Behind the figures, a modified image and map of the landscape of Monmouth and Independence serves as a hidden organic element behind the more angular shapes.
A video was also made of the installation using time-lapse footage and other recordings of the event, to commemorate and memorialize the class’ accomplishments and collaboration with the MICC.
